In this comprehensive training participants take an electronic pre-assessment to determine their "Cultural Quotient (CQ)." Organizations will receive a "Group Report" of employee/leadership responses (individual responses intended for the participant and facilitator only).
Participants will:
Recognize the relevance of cultural intelligence | Understand the ten cultural value dimensions | Develop an understanding of cultural intelligence as a key capability for intercultural effectiveness | Learn about and know how to apply CQ Drive | Reflect on CQ Knowledge scores and gain strategies for improvement | Learn how to apply CQ strategy | Understand the importance of CQ Action for Intercultural Effectiveness | Apply knowledge through a case study | Develop a CQ Action Plan

In this comprehensive training participants will develop a deeper understanding of unconscious bias and ways CQ can help disrupt bias | Learn the definition of "covering" and understand the personal and organizational effects | Define and recognize multiple types of bias | Identify personal biases | Learn strategies to responding effectively to microaggressions | Recognize cultural values as another important source of bias | Understand how bias affects organizational systems and practices | Learn strategies to manage bias across the employee lifecycle |Develop a personal action plan to take effective action in managing and challenging bias
